Inside The Forge: Concealed-Carry Drill Progressions.
The main use for NLTA (non-lethal training ammunition) out there is FoF training, hands down. I wanted to show here how they can also be used in static drills as an interim step between inert tools and live fire. Used in this way, we can ease the transition for new shooters. In this video, taken at IDS, I’m using UTM non-lethal rounds indoors and then live fire at an outdoor range with the same concealed carry drill.
Yeah, a UTM round sort of exploded out the ejection port and I had no idea what happened until the gun misfired. Train ugly.
