To The Hills,
Inside each of us there is a forge. It’s what we use to make ourselves better. We put ourselves in the flames to be workable, then hammer out the shape while getting rid of impurities.
We do this daily, in various ways; in our jobs and relationships, hobbies and pass-times. It’s more obvious with things like exercise. But we do it constantly because we are goal-oriented, we strive for progress, and we live by our vision of the ideal.
The thing about a forge, though, is it has to have fire to work. You have to light it; you have to find that spark within that will consume you. And then you have to fan the flames. Make it burn hot. Then hammer away and see what you’re made of.
Light the forge.
